One of the volunteer services that I provide, is being a Pet Friend therapy dog handler at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh One of the things that we all love to do is to have post cards with our pups information on the cards to give to the kids as a memento of their visit with us. I decided that I would do a complimentary photo shoot for my fellow Pet Friend volunteers.
I set up two separate dates for which we met down on the North Shore of Pittsburgh. We strolled along the river from the Clemente Bridge to the Carnegie Science Center taking photos of each pup (and their mom or dad if they wished). Both evenings that I met with the Pet Friends were beautiful evenings to be on the North Shore!
It seemed that we all had a wonderful rapport with each other, as being a volunteer in such a way with sick children, we all already seemed to have a connection.
All of the images between the two sessions turned out wonderful! I certainly was happy to be able to provided each with an image for their next post cards for the children they visit. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend some time on a beautiful Pittsburgh evening with fellow volunteers at Children's Hospital Pet Friend Program! I will certainly be making this an annual photoshoot outting!
